Isolate means protein, where the protein content of the dry material is 90 % in minimum. The terms ultra-filtered and ion-exchange specify only the form of filtering. Only hydrolysis makes such a protein quick.
The hydrolysed protein is absorbed in half an hour. The basic protein is absorbed much slower, because it must pass the digestion process before the body can have benefit of it. From this it is easy to conclude that a recovery product, which contains only part of its proteins in a hydrolysed form, cannot be as effective as a product, which contains enough of plain hydrolysed protein.
